I totally love DIY projects. I get to use my old clothes as materials.
Need crafty ideas? To name a few, I can create fabric accessories like headbands, bracelets, and even necklaces. In fact, some can be given as gifts or souvenir on parties. Another great idea to try is creating pillows, quilts and even wall decorations out of old clothes or curtains. While for the fashion enthusiast, I suggest to use old fabric / clothes to create patches that can be used on jeans for added flare or use their old sweaters for new scarves, hats, and mittens.

With all honesty, If you love sewing, there are really countless ways you can use your old clothes. You just have to be creative and let your imagination flow. I am not an expert, but I feel great that I have tried to create something by myself. In fact, whenever I’m grocery shopping I opt to use my reusable shopping bags that I have sewn myself. From time to time I get praise and questions on where I have bought my bag. Whenever I share that I have created myself, the reactions I receive are quite flattering and inspires me to do more.
