Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November 11, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. –wikipedia
As a proud wife to an amazing Airman, I wanted to share a dedicated post of deals and freebies to thank and honor all the men and women who served and continue to serve this country. For those who aren’t aware a veteran (from Latin vetus, meaning “old”) is a person who has had long service or experience in a particular occupation or field (i.e., a person who has served or is serving in the armed forces). Feel free to share this post to your family and friends as they may know someone who is a veteran – they can snag a free meal, haircut and more! Check out some of the deals for Nov 11 that I rounded up (most of which are our favorite spots!) …

I am in the UK sadly so couldn’t make use of these but sure would if I could
I’ll have to remember these for next year and look them up again. I love that there are places that have deals for veterans.
Veterans Day is a day we celebrate. My husband is a veteran and after 8 years of service, we know the sacrifices many take. It is great many places will honor those who were willing to sacrifice it all.
